Connie Schrock, PhD, is a professor of mathematics, computer science, and economics at Emporia State University. She also leads a task force that supports the Common Core State Standards for mathematics.

Connie Schrock

Connie Schrock, PhD, professor emeritus of mathematics, was president of NCSM: Leadership in Mathematics Education from 2017 to 2019.

As a professor at Emporia State University, she received multiple award recognitions and taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate mathematics classes, including a middle and secondary mathematics methods course where she supervised mathematics student teachers.

Dr. Schrock returned to the classroom multiple times to work with students, and she continues to guide classroom teachers and school districts in increasing student learning.

She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from Emporia State University, and she earned another master’s degree and her doctorate from Kansas State University.
