Solution Tree Gave Away $30,000 to Schools!

Excellence is not a predefined destination, but a journey of continuous improvement for educators and students alike. To congratulate schools and districts for their efforts and help them continue their journey of continuous improvement, Solution Tree awarded $10,000 each to three Redefining Excellence Award winners.

Redefining Excellence in the Classroom Award

This award honored the math team at Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in St. Paul, Minnesota, for their extraordinary efforts and contributions to their school. In addition to $10,000, the team received a $200 credit to purchase Solution Tree materials for their school, along with two free registrations ($1,478 value) to the 2014 PLC at Work™ Summit.

Redefining Excellence in the School Award

This award honored the Carter G. Woodson Elementary School of the Medical Arts in Jacksonville, Florida, for their extraordinary efforts and contributions to improved student learning. In addition to $10,000, the school received a $200 credit to purchase Solution Tree materials, along with two free registrations ($1,478 value) to the 2014 PLC at Work™ Summit.

Redefining Excellence in the District Award

This award honored Stanley-Boyd School District in Stanley, Wisconsin, for their extraordinary efforts and contributions to its schools and collaboration and implementation of 21st century practices. In addition to $10,000, the district received a 2014 Solution Tree Library, along with two free registrations ($1,478 value) to the 2014 PLC at Work™ Summit.
