Stefani Kulhanek is a mathematics education specialist at Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston, Texas, where her primary focus is providing products and services for elementary school mathematics teachers and students. During her 10 years as an elementary school teacher, Stefani served on district curriculum committees and as a mentor for new and student teachers. She was also the lead ESL teacher.
Stefani has contributed to numerous r4 Educated Solutions series, including Supporting TAKS Achievement; Closing the Distance; Engaging Mathematics; Making Connections With Measurement; and Making Math Accessible to Students With Special Needs: Implementing TEKS, TAKS, and Alternative Assessments.
Stefani earned a bachelor of arts in elementary education from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and a master of education in early childhood education and principal certification from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She is pursuing a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Texas A&M University.
